**VERY EXCITING NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT**
Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for the past couple of years, you will undoubtedly be familiar with the name ‘The Unmumsy Mum’ – an honest, hilarious and award-winning blog written by Sarah Turner charting the highs, and lows of parenthood.
After reviewing ‘Penny’s Place’ for the Telegraph last August, we were super keen to work with Sarah again, and so we were thrilled when she agreed to come on board with us this year as an honorary Tots To Travel family travel expert!
We’re excited to announce that ‘The Unmumsy Mum’ will be a regular feature on the blog for the next few months; reviewing holidays and providing us with competitions, travel advice and funny stories that are bound to keep us all amused.
So without further ado, we would like to warmly welcome Sarah and her family to the Tots To Travel Team!
Here are a few words from the lady herself:
Hello! I’m Sarah and I’m an author, freelance writer, blogger and mum-of-two from Devon.
I first started my blog, The Unmumsy Mum, four years ago and since then I have been lucky enough to give up my day job working at the local university and write two books! Last year, I was asked to write an article for a newspaper documenting our first family holiday abroad and the holiday we were sent on just so happened to be a Tots to Travel holiday in France. We were SO impressed by everything that our Tots holiday offered us – the level of detail that goes into creating a truly family-friendly holiday is pretty astounding. I was therefore over the moon when the team asked if I fancied working together again this year.
When I was growing up, holidays always marked the point in the year when we did something fun together as a family. My mum very sadly passed away when I was a teenager and there is nothing more precious to me than the memories I have of those holidays, which is probably why I am so intent on recreating the same holiday funtimes for my boys. I am so excited about going on holiday with Tots again this year and can’t wait to report back on our adventures.
