Have a look at some of our most popular and family-friendly UK properties, available now. Surrounding every location there are loads of wonderful activities just perfect for babies, toddlers, kids and the whole family!

Read on to get some ideas about what you can do during your UK holiday, and to see what great baby and toddler friendly places we have to offer; with some old favourites and some brand new properties, book before they sell out!

Visit The South of England

What you can do:

– Visit any of the wonderful local tourist attractions including Blue Reef Aquarium, Crealy Adventure Park for kids, Dairy Land, Newquay Zoo, Springfields Fun Park and Pony Centre, Screech Owl Sanctuary and more

– Visit any of the stunning nearby 11 sandy beaches, many of which are dog friendly, have rock pools to explore or allow you to hire surf equipment

– Stay on the Retallack resort and enjoy the swimming pools, spas, fitness activities, golf and tennis facilities, outdoor play area, zip wire, Xbox Zone, sun terrace, FlowRider wave machine and the Adventure Academy, designed for kids of all ages

Seaview House (4 bed)

What you can do:

– Visit the fishing port of Padstow for some yummy food at any of Jamie Oliver’s or Rick Stein’s eateries, or travel to nearby Newquay for some surfing fun (perhaps watching, rather than participating!)

– Build some sand castles, do some kite flying or play some beach games on the sandy Mawgan Porth beach

– Take your little ones for some amazing kiddies high tea, including entry to the indoor and outdoor playgrounds, at the Bedruthen Steps hotel

– Visit any of the numerous local tourist attractions including the Eden Project, Fowey, Charlestown, seal spotting at Godrevy Lighthouse, Cape Cornwall, Old Macdonalds Farm and more!

Lynhurst (5 bed)


What you can do:

–  Visit the beautiful Battery Gardens, overlooking the bay, or the Brixham Battery Museum

– Take stunning coastal walks, ranging from short meanders appropriate for little legs (to Fishcombe or Churston cove beaches where you can also walk your dogs, grab an ice cream or even swim safely) to longer tracks for keen walkers heading towards Dartmouth or Babbacombe. You can also visit Elberry Cove and Broadsands beach, where your very own beach hut will be situated

– Visit Brixham harbour and town to see some historic sites and interesting boutiques nestled amongst the colourful fisherman cottages, try the Brixham Steam Railway or go fossil hunting or dolphin spotting at Berry Head Nature Reserve.

– For older children or just big kids  (such as your husband) there is an amazing Battlefield Live experience in nearby Torbay, with an authentic infrared gaming gun activity that’s sure to entertain

– You could also go to Paignton to see the zoo, Splashdown Key West Water Park complete with toddler pools and rides, or the Victorian pier for some good old seaside fun; think dodgems, bouncy castles and more!

Bullrush Lodge (3 bed)

What you can do:

– Explore the Cotswold Water Park, with options to walk, cycle, do some sightseeing, sail, water-ski, cable ski, see some wildlife or do some fishing

– Visit the Roman market town of Cirencester, go golfing or horse riding within a few miles of the lodge or have a go at some exciting outdoor activities at the Cotswold Country Park and Beach or Cotswold Holiday Adventure Zone, including Archery or Buschcraft and Survival

– Take little animal lovers to Cotswold Wildlife Park, and let them enjoy the petting zoo alongside other amazing critters, to Bristol Zoo which has 450 species, and many undercover exhibits making it perfect for rainy days, to Butts Farm to feed some farm animals or to Birdland Park and Gardens to see some exotic birds such as penguins and flamingos

– Pay a visit to the Bristol Science Centre where you can explore the amazing interactive exhibits, including a fantastic planetarium

Nothe View (4 bed)


What you can do:

Visit the many local beaches including some shingle and some sandy ones, or go to the Jurassic Coast which is the one of the longest World Heritage Sites in Britain, welcomes dogs and has loads of lovely fishing to do or wildlife to view. You can also go fossil hunting- an exciting prospect for any little dinosaur fans!

– Visit Nothe Fort, a spooky and mysterious Victorian Structure. There is also plenty for families to do, even if ghosts aren’t really your thing!

– Bring back the classics by taking the kids to a Punch & Judy show on Weymouth beach or by building some sandcastles. Any budding architects will also love a visit to Sandworld, where some of the most amazing sand sculptures are made.

– Take a trip to Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park and Tower, with magnificent views and over 1000 marine creatures to see.

– Go to Portland Bill for a lovely walk with dramatic scenery, and even a chance to spot some dolphins.

– Nature lovers will enjoy a trip to Lorton Valley Nature Park, with its beautiful landscapes and plentiful wildlife inhabitants.

Visit West England

The Smelting Croft (2 bed)

What you can do:

– Visit many of the fantastically quaint local pubs, cafes and restaurants for a refreshing beverage or a scrumptious nibble

– Take a trip to the village’s own vintage-style tea room, which also has a small local shop and even offers the opportunity to hire bikes and canoes

– Visit the pretty local town of Oswestry, with its Wednesday and Saturday markets, independent shops and cafes

– Go to Park Hall Farm which has lots of baby friendly activities, lamb feeding, quad biking, pig racing, pony grooming and more

– Visit Crazy Knights, a medieval themed kids indoor play centre, which is one of the biggest indoor playcentres in the UK. Under 2s and adults even get in free!

Visit South Wales

What you can do:

– Visit the beautiful Gower peninsula beaches or breathtaking Brecon Beacons National Park

– There are many walks, shops, pubs, a swimming pool and more in local Pontardawe or some lovely walks and places to visit direct from your doorstep

– Swansea, and many fun family attractions such as gardens, castles, parks, museums, roller skating facillities and beaches are all nearby

– Owner Helen is great at helping families work out what they’d like to do during the visit, and provides nature ‘treasure hunts’, fishing rods and will even lay out a picnic for you (no basket required!) if you’d like. She also runs craft sessions and Welsh language lessons for kids, so you can have some peace whilst your tots are kept occupied.

– Children can have a go at feeding the chickens and horses themselves when it comes to animal feeding time

– Nearby Margam Country Park is perfect for little ones with its fairytale land, castle, climbing trees and animals
