Your safety and wellbeing are of paramount importance to us. Building on our existing high standards for safety and cleanliness, the new Tots Clean & Safe Standard ensures enhanced hygiene and precautionary measures are in place for Tots customers.
In response to the Covid-19 outbreak, we have worked together with our suppliers and property owners following advice and guidelines from the World Health Organisation and industry bodies to develop protocols for cleanliness and safety specifically with families in mind during the Covid-19 era.
We want you to relax and enjoy your holiday together, safe in the knowledge that every step has been taken to look after the wellbeing of your family.
While individual cleaning and safety protocols may vary by resort and property, we have developed the Tots Clean & Safe Standard to focus on the Tots Essential Kit and family facilities provided at the accommodation featured on our website.
Multiple sets of toys and books will be used to allow for complete sanitisation between guests. Additional time will be allowed for the sanitising of toys and when this is not possible the toys will be removed, and a sanitised set placed in your property. Any fixed indoor play equipment will be cleaned and disinfected between guests.
Careful consideration has been given to the type of cleaning materials used to ensure its safety for babies and young children with only non-toxic disinfectant being used.
Any toys that cannot be effectively sanitised due to the materials they are made from will be removed.
Deeper, more frequent cleaning will be the new standard in hospitality, with all holiday accommodation being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between guests. This will include enhanced cleaning of all areas with particular attention given to high touch items such as light switches and door handles.
Tots Essential Kit items such highchairs, bottle sterilisers and changing mats will be cleaned with non-toxic disinfectant between guests. Children’s plastic crockery and cutlery will be sanitised and travel cots and cot mattresses will be sanitised with a minimum of 72 hours before reuse.
Non-essential items or items that cannot be effectively santitised from will be removed.
Extra hygiene measures will be taken in any communal play areas. Surfaces will be cleaned and sanitised with increased frequency with particular attention given to high touch surfaces such as ride on toys, swings, slides and entry gates. If practical, outdoor toys will be placed in individual properties rather than in shared areas.
A Covid-19 hygiene pack will be provided in all accommodation for guest use. This will contain items such as hand sanitiser, disposable disinfectant wipes, disinfectant spray, paper towels in sealed packaging and hand soap in pump dispenser.
There is no evidence that the COVID-19 virus can be spread by people using pools, hot tubs or spas. Proper operation and maintenance (including disinfection with chlorine and bromine) of these facilities should inactivate the virus in the water. However, enhanced cleaning protocols around the pool will be required.
Some elements of your stay will be adapted to allow for social distancing. Expect spacing measures, contactless interactions and revised capacities along with masks and screens.
Dear beach, I think of you often...
