Occitanie-Roussillon, France£1,414 - £4,544 per week
Sleeps up to 4 in total plus 2 infants in cots in 2 bedrooms
The six gites here have been converted from an old winery that dates back to the Middle Ages, with a modern makeover, and all the mod cons – sitting in enclosed gardens, the whole estate is surrounded by vineyards, which we think makes it feel like a secret hideaway.
Kids will just love making childhood holiday memories here, whether they’re running around the organic gardens, jumping about on the bouncy castle, swinging at the children’s play area, or heading to the fenced pool area for splash time.
Or, they’ll have loads of fun making friends at the complimentary Baby and Kids’ Club (set in the specially-built Kids’ HQ), giving you time to socialise at the bar, chill out by the pool, or treat yourself to a massage at the Wellness Centre.
For days out, head to the beach, Dinosaur Park, or water park…

Bowker Family, June 2018
We stayed in Le Syrah and had an absolutely fantastic week. Our hosts were so incredibly welcoming and made sure we had a lovely relaxing week from checking everything was ok for us throughout our stay, telling us about great local places we could see and do, getting the kids to help them brush the donkeys and collect the chicken eggs to being great company on the pizza night. The food was cooked by a fabulous chef on site and was so delicious, both the kids and adults loved it. It is all done from scratch using fresh ingredients. Our favourite was the tarte framboise for pudding! The accommodation was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and had good sized bedrooms. It had outside eating space at the front with views over the vineyard as well as a roof terrace with views down to the lagoon in the distance. The kids club is a fantastic facility with it’s own little toilets, sleep room, and light, airy and bright play room. The kids were super happy to go and play there with the lovely nanny Joanna. She also took them to play round the site and always had lots of ideas to keep both our 4 and 2 year old entertained and allowed us some time to go exploring around the area for an hour or two without the kids. This included a great bike ride on their bikes through the vineyards and melon fields down to the port and back. It was magical, along tiny country roads, only bumping into the postman in his van. The site is set up so well with a fantastic heated pool that our four year old could stand in for about a third of the pool and the splash pool was a good size as well for our two year old. Lots of inflatables to keep them entertained too and a lovely view over the vineyards. The site had so many activities to keep the kids entertained too including a trampoline, zip wire, playground and bouncy castle. Some days we didn’t feel the need to leave the site as everyone was just so happy playing, exploring and relaxing in the grounds. Truely getting away from it all. When we did get out with the kids there was lots to do and Mèze, the local port had a perfect toddler beach with super calm water they could paddle and swim in. The dinosaur park was a big hit too. Thank you for our lovely stay and I know we will be back soon!
The Redmond Family, August 2017
Everything that we needed was in place at the appropriate time. We were so well looked after that it felt like we were not being looked after at all. By this I mean to say that we felt we had privacy and seclusion and yet had everything to hand. It was idyllic.

We stayed at half term at it was delightful. We stayed in Le Syrah Gite which was beautifully designed, both contemporary and tastefully french. I was nosy and visited each Gite and they were all different but equally lovely and finished to such a high standard. The children's club was great and there are lots of bikes, a football pitch, badminton, golf and a bouncy castle to keep the children more than entertained. Not to mention the swimming pools, beautiful! Did I mention petanque too? The owners, Maryse and Yvan are very kind and generous and did everything to make our stay special.

We loved the week we spent here. From the super kind and efficient Maris, who runs a very good operation, to the staff at the kids club who entertained and delighted our 2 kids, the people there are wonderful. The environment is safe, secure and we felt very confident in letting the children enjoy without constant parental supervision. The gite we stayed in was perfectly situated and provided for. That we had a welcome basket with things we might need was even better! The food was delicious each time and having fresh bread and croissants delivered every morning is a real treat. We will certainly go back again.
The Thomas Family, August 2015
Our family of five - three girls aged 8, 6 and 4 stayed at this lovely property for one week in August 2015. Maryse and Yvan were amazing hosts and organized many events to help make our holiday special. These included, a welcome meal on arrival, Sunday night group dinner to meet other families staying there, a wine tasting and wood fired pizza night and of course the kids club. Three nannies were onsite to entertain and care for the girls and supervise them during group meals in the communal bar and courtyard. Maryse and Yvan went out of their way to help us plan family friendly activities and even booked dinner for us at a fabulous local seafood restaurant. Complimentary babysitting was also included and we felt very comfortable leaving our girls with experienced and responsible nannies - thank you for taking such good care of the girls!

We loved it from the moment we arrived. Maryse and Yvan were so kind, welcoming and helpful. The gites are furnished to a very high standard and set amongst beautiful vineyards. The facilities are excellent, and our children loved Isabelle in the kids club, so much so they didn't want to leave! Fantastic trip and we hope to return.
