Dennis Family, November 2018
A perfect family holiday. Great facilities for babies, toddlers, kids and grown up's. The service and food is exceptional. The beach is amazing. Can't wait to go back.
Davenport Family, February 2018
Hotel was 5 star service and food was exceptional. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pools were clean and lots of shallow pools for little ones. Lots going on in Kikoland although the style of activities such as dressing up, dancing and facepainting didn't really suit our children. There was a soccer school which looked a good activity for older boys. A local supermarket meant we could pick up swimming toys and practical bits very easily.
Family stayed October 2017
What makes this hotel is the staff, our 3 1/2 year old loved every minute of it, the staff at Kikoland were so professional, particularly Francesca who was really good to our son, she deserves special recognition. Breakfast really good, kids disco in the evening was a huge hit with our son, overall an excellent hotel and couldn’t fault it.
The Vaughan Family, May 2017
The hotel was absolutely beautiful, right next to the beach too which was handy with a 10 month old! The breakfast is amazing I couldn't fault it!! They have a soft play inside the hotel for babies and kids and the staff are so lovely!! My only negative feedback which is hardly negative is there wasn't any knifes or utensils in the kitchen to be able to make food for the baby with. But other than that I would recommend this hotel to anyone.-
The Smith Family, May 2016
Fantastic, can't rave about this place enough. Everything for our one year old we could possibly want was there. The soft play, baby jacuzzi, plastic cutlery and bibs in every restaurant... The staff are all really great to kids as well!
The Boddongton Family, 2015
We couldn't fault the kids facilities and our daughter had the best time EVER! Which ultimately was our goal. The accommodation itself was clean, spacious and well maintained.

The wing of the building where you'll find the Kiko Suites is set up especially for families, and is connected to the main hotel by a walkway filled with tropical fish aquariums.
The Royal Kiko Suite has a light and airy living room with comfy sofas, a television and a dining table; there is also a kitchenette with a microwave, kettle and fridge, so that the little ones can enjoy a snack at any time of day.
The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with a beautiful wooden bed frame and matching bedside tables; it has a full en suite bathroom.
The second bedroom sleeps up to three with colourful themed decor, and a television with a Playstation 4 to keep little ones entertained; next door, there is a family shower room.
Especially for families, the suite comes with complimentary services including: 24-hour room service, Rituals amenities, a kitchenette, air conditioning, satellite television and radio, Wi-Fi, a telephone, a mini-bar and safe.
For the kids, you'll also get our full Essential Kit, as well as two hours of complimentary babysitting if you book a meal at Isla de Lobos, a mini-bar filled with children's products, bathrobes and slippers for both adults and kids, a DVD player with USB connection, a Playstation 4, Kiko amenities, and a surprise children's welcome gift.
From the living room and master bedroom, doors lead out onto a balcony - the perfect spot to enjoy an evening drink after the little ones are tucked up in bed.
The main draw for the children here will be the complimentary Kikoland Kids’ Club, which is huge. The specialist accredited staff run supervised activities for kids ages three and up at various times throughout the day; there is an unsupervised area for younger children and their parents or babysitters too.
In the centre of Kikoland is a family swimming pool and a pool bar for the parents to chill out in while the children play. You’ll also find an amphitheatre for shows and demonstrations, cabins for indoor activities, and sports courts for games and classes.
For even more play options, there’s an indoor ball pit and soft play area at Kikopark in the main hotel; this is open and supervised for several sessions throughout the day for three to eight year olds.
The new Baby Kikoland for ages four months to three years is available at an additional cost with two sessions per day, five days a week. The supervisors are trained in nurturing educational, physical and intellectual development in babies, and you can access the webcam through your mobile device for extra peace of mind.
The hotel is right on the beach, so no matter where your suite is, it’ll never be more than a few minutes to the sand and sea.
If you prefer to swim in a pool rather than the sea, there are six pools in the grounds of the hotel- two are set aside for children, as is one of the two Jacuzzis. As you’d expect from this luxury hotel, you’ll find beach and pool towels provided for you.
If you’re looking for something other than beach, pool, or play, you might like to book a treatment at the Thalasso Spa Centre, where you’ll find relaxation rooms, a Turkish bath, a vast massage menu and a unique heated seawater pool with a starry sky ceiling decoration.
A hairdresser and the designer shops along the Boulevard Yaiza will ensure that if you want to treat yourself, there will be every opportunity to do so.
When it comes to meal times, you’re spoiled for choice. There are three buffet restaurants specialising in Mediterranean, Mexican, and international cuisine, whilst five à la carte restaurants offer Japanese, gourmet Italian and Spanish tapas. La Gelateria has a range of delicious desserts and 26 different ice cream flavours!
Suites are offered on a bed and breakfast basis and you can eat your buffet breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant up until 10.30am; or, upgrade to half-board for buffet evening meals or deluxe half-board for buffet or à la carte evening meals.
Once the day draws to a close, you’ll find a mini-disco, so the adults can sit back and have a drink while the kids are entertained with face painting, games or dancing.
Playa Blanca and Marina Rubicon
The hotel sits around halfway between Playa Blanca and the Marina Rubicon on the beautiful Avenida Maritima sea front promenade - lined with shops and restaurants, with spectacular views across to Fuerteventura.
Playa Blanca used to be a fairly small fishing village until quite recently, but has now developed into a bustling town with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes; it still remains tranquil compared to the more lively Lanzarote resorts like Costa Teguise or Puerto del Carmen.
The Marina Rubicon is the largest private marina on the island and is an upmarket area with boutique shops and cobbled streets.
From the promenade, the beaches at the front of the Princesa Yaiza are sheltered in their own bay; which is part of a larger 9km bay around Playa Blanca. For this reason, along with the golden sands and turquoise water, this area is considered to have the best beaches in Lanzarote – perfect for splashing or sunbathing.
AquaLava Lanzarote Water Park
Definitely a fun day out for any water babies and their water loving parents.
In the area of Yaiza is this wonderful water park, which prides itself on its renewable energy technology to heat the water. It has a castle, a ‘slow river’, waterfalls, wave pools, and many water slides. There’s also a restaurant on site.
Although attached to a hotel complex, it is open to the public 7 days a week from 10am to 6pm.
Guinate Tropical Park & Penguin Paradise
In the north of Lanzarote, about an hour’s drive from the hotel, is this wildlife park at the foot of an extinct volcano. They have over 150 species from meerkats to desert foxes, parrots to vultures including regular entertainment shows featuring the animals.
The Penguin Paradise area of the park allows you to see the animals through a spectacular underwater viewing pool, and the bar terrace overlooks a children’s play area for when the kids want to play and you want to relax.
The park is open all year round from 10am to 5pm. Under 4s are free, children up to 13 pay €6 and everyone else €14.
Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park
This is a full-on day out, with hundreds of animals of all types: mammals, birds, reptiles - there’s something for everyone. See sea lions, watch birds of prey, ride ponies, go canoeing or swim. With plenty of green space to relax or run around in, you can really do whatever takes your fancy here.
The park is open from 9.30am to 5.30pm all year round.
In Costa Teguise, you will discover the largest aquarium in the Canary Islands with hundreds of species in 33 tanks and over a million litres of water.
There are special pools where you and the kids can learn about and touch animals like starfish and small crabs. If you’re feeling really brave, you can even book to dive in the tank with sharks!
The aquarium is open daily from 10am to 6pm with adults paying €12.50 and children €6.
