Wow! Now here's a location that allows Mums & Dads to relax, whilst the little ones burn off lots of energy in the Play Barn. What a fantastic location for a holiday! Owners, Rob and Trudy have literally provided everything you might want.

I can't emphasise enough what a fantastic facility the HUGE Play Barn is to have on site. This is a real winner! There's a great indoor climbing area, with slides, nets and obstacles, plus a large ball pool. There are stacks of toddler toys, a complete dressing up wardrobe, games galore, a large screen for watching DVDs, a toddler pool table, large pool table, air hockey, table football, a disco area, painting, playdough and craft activities and lots more to keep children of all ages (and adults) entertained.

With the enclosed heated swimming pool, animal enclosure and outdoor play areas for tots and older ones too, parents can be sure their little ones will have a wonderful time trying out all the different activities and games.

Rob and Trudy have done a fantastic job of making sure that everyone who comes here will have plenty to do and enjoy a great family holiday.

Tranquillité  (2 bedrooms) is all on one level, with extensive grounds and an outside eating area, one double room, one twin room and an open plan living/dining area and well equipped kitchen.

Sérénité (3 bedrooms) has a double and two twin rooms, open plan living/dining area anda well equipped kitchen. There are also extensive grounds and an outside eating area.

Mystique (3 bedrooms) has a double and two twin rooms, open plan living/dining area and well equipped kitchen. It also has extensive grounds and an outside eating area.

Outside

This site has everything! The HUGE play barn has got to be the best attraction for the children: a safe & happy space for children & adults to make new friends but more importantly it's a place to play. Energetic and fun, the playframe has been specially designed for children ideally above 5 years, with soft play items, swings and a slide. There's so much to do that even the most energetic children will end the day happily exhausted.

The barn is packed with fun things to do for all ages. For little guests there is a kiddies korner with play kitchen, baby dolls and pram, to cars and trackers for little boys too. Alongside the playframe is a large ball pool play area where adults can easily keep an eye on their little ones or get in and enjoy the fun.

Snooker, pool, air-hockey or other games of skill await you.  Chat, play games, surf the net (net-nanny installed) and make new friends.  This energetic place provides complete entertainment for all ages. Your kids will be amused and busy every day, with a comfy sofa for you to read on, or take advantage of the free wifi.  The grown-ups can have a bit of time to themselves whilst the little ones have the time of their lives.

Children can burn off energy on our very own bouncy castle, enjoy treasure hunts through the woods , arrange game console championship on the wii, or when quiet time is needed there's a whole range of arts and crafts activities to do. There are outside games available such as rounders, swingball and table tennis, not to mention the trampolines and climbing equipment with areas suitable for older children and a separate area for toddlers.

The wooded area in the grounds has become an animal enclosure and if children are supervised they may go and visit the chickens, the pygmy goats and Archie the pot bellied pig.

In addition to the play barn, The heated enclosed swimming pool offers a constant depth of 1.2 metres and is open mid May-September (weather permitting). There are sun loungers around the pool so you can relax enjoying the panoramic views across the Breton countryside.

The grounds round Foret Secrète are vast! The grassy areas give little ones lots of opportunity to run around safely and let off steam! The grounds are not completely fenced but due to the space available there is little chance of a toddler 'wandering off'. Parents can relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the views.

Lots! The play barn has a huge range of activities for all ages and there's a toddler outdoor play area, older children's outdoor play area, with climbing frames and large trampoline and a bouncy castle to name but a few of the facilities.

Please note that as this is a cluster or properties, all equipment may not be made available in every gite and you may have to request certain items from the owners. You can make requests at the time of booking and before you arrive.

And Beyond

Forêt Secrète is situated on a quiet country lane,  surrounded by pleasant Breton countryside, approximately 7kms from the pretty village of Malguenac and 15 minutes from the bustling town of Pontivy.

There's so much to do in this area. Villages hold festivals and fetes, there's medieval pagentry, the ever popular Sunday 'vide-grenier' and the Lac de Guerledan provides a great setting for various water based activities.

Pont Scoff Zoo is within easy travelling distance or why not visit Oceanopolis at Brest? 

There are short way-marked walks in the area and trails through the woods, or visit Josselin with it's fabulous chateau and Dolls museum.
